Writing about Mummy

I call my Mummy, ‘Mummy’ at home, but at school everyone says Mum so I do what everyone else does.

Mummy has been a bit slow about scanning my pictures. There’s a big pile of them in her office. Anyway this is a painting I did last year in school.

I did this drawing in Mummy's sketchbook to show how boring it was for me while Mummy painted a scene. I said it felt like I was a dead person which is what I tried to draw. Mummy added the watercolour later.

Mummy and I had a lovely evening. I helped make meatballs for supper and then while Daddy was coaching canoeing we had fun drawing each other - but shhh don’t tell Daddy - Mummy didn't notice the time and I went to bed an hour and a half later than normal!

A joke

My Daddy does sometimes get cross, but he doesn’t say what this robin is saying. I saw a funny sign saying ‘angry sheep’ with a sheep saying ‘I hate you’ so I thought it would be funny to do the same thing with a robin. Mummy says she really likes the drawing.

Oh, I forgot to say, my Daddy’s name is Robin which is why I did the joke.

This is another picture I did on my own. I just took the paper out of Mummy's printer and found the coloured pencils.
